At Shells Unlimited, we sell both fresh and frozen seafood. Our direct-from-the-source service in conjunction with our streamlined logistical assets allow for a fresh quality product delivered on time.
Seafood & shellfish processing
Our location in “Guinea” puts us at the heart of the local oyster and crab harvest that occur year round in the surrounding waters of the middle peninsula to include James River, York River, Rappahannock and the Mobjack Bay. With our on-site oyster and crab processing resources we produce fresh quality shucked oysters, shell oysters, whole crabs and crab meat. In 2019, Shells Unlimited was validated by Virginia Tech in coordination with VDH to begin pasteurization of our local crab meat adding another unique product that Shells Unlimited is able to produce organically.
